What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crushing Foreman- Highway position at Pierce County?
Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to supervise, inspect, lay out and participate in the work of crews engaged in rock crushing, quarry drilling, stripping of quarries and sand pits, and other areas associated with the crushing and screening of materials used in road construction and maintenance as well as the production and distribution of salt sand and other areas associated with the mixing of salt sand.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a CDL license.
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have two years’ experience in the field of rock crushing/screening of materials or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
This position is a FT 40 hours per week position starting at $28.53-$30.16 per hour (depending on qualifications)
