PVESC is growing! Our new 42,000-square-foot hospital is opening soon, bringing expanded specialty services, new opportunities, and an exciting next chapter for our team.
What You ll Do
- Administer medications and chemotherapy under oncologist supervision
- Assist with diagnostics, including laboratory work, imaging, and CT
- Support oncology appointments, patient flow, and scheduling
- Assist with our radioactive I-131 program for hyperthyroid cats
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and drug logs
- Educate and communicate compassionately with clients
- Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, and other specialty teams
- Provide patient-centered care and support throughout treatment
What We re Looking For
- Licensed/credentialed Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Oncology or specialty medicine experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- EzyVet or SmartFlow experience a plus
- Compassionate, positive, and team-oriented approach
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, 4-day work week
- Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:30 PM, with one weekday off
- Weekends off
- Schedule based on current hospital needs discussed during interview
- Occasional holidays required
- $25 $38/hour, based on experience
- Up to $5000.00 sign on bonus based on experience and credentials
