What You ll Do
- Assisting veterinarians with routine general practice procedures: exams, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, venipuncture, and catheter placement
- Support with patient intake, client communication, and education on treatments
- Preparing patients for appointments, including reviewing and interpreting bloodwork, medical history, and diagnostics
- Administering and monitoring medications, ensuring safe and accurate patient care
- Communicating effectively and empathetically with clients during consultations, discharges, and follow-up updates
- Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting seamless case management
- Collaborating closely with veterinarians and fellow technicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Supporting other hospital teams as needed once duties are complete
What You Bring:
- CVT/LVT/RVT licensure preferred
- Solid understanding of veterinary medical terminology, medications, and disease processes
- Strong communication skills for client education and team collaboration
- Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
