Licensed Veterinary Technician Dentistry & Oral SurgeryPortland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is a growing multi-specialty and emergency veterinary practice in the beautiful Portland, Maine area. We re seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Dentistry & Oral Surgery team and work alongside a board-certified veterinary dentist.

The Role
- Assist with advanced dental and oral examinations, diagnostics, and procedures
- Prepare patients and equipment and maintain safety and sterility
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during dental and surgical procedures
- Assist with periodontal, endodontic, prosthodontic, and oral surgery procedures
- Educate clients on oral health, post-procedure care, and prevention
What We re Looking For
- Current LVT credential in good standing
- Veterinary dentistry experience preferred
- Strong anesthesia, patient handling, and dental imaging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Positive, compassionate approach to patient care
- EzyVet/SmartFlow experience a plus
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time: Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (may vary)
- Some holidays required
- $25 $38/hour, based on experience and licensure
- Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus commensurate with experience and credentials
