Responsibilities: Coordinates, updates, and revises the clinical education program. Providing competency assessments and educational/training sessions for staff as well as establishing best practice protocols. Having a working knowledge of all aspects of procedures for their specific discipline, as well as policies related to reimbursement. Serving on committees for program planning. Providing care for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Responsible for the care of patients treated by therapist assistants, technicians, students, and observers. Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff. Qualifications: Education
- Bachelors Degree minimum for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapist or RN. Required
- Masters degree minimum for Speech Language Pathologists from a recognized college or university.
- 2 years previous healthcare experience preferred in a hospital setting Required
- Experience with research and analysis of data Preferred
- Current licensure in the State of Georgia in applicable field of study Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Upon Hire Required
