Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Picture Perfect Pets. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry clients, as well as perform a variety of Hair cuts and styles. Bathe, Dry, Brush. Express anal glands, clean ears cut and grind nails. As well as maintain calm and patient demeanor throughout work day. You will be responsible for answering phone calls scheduling and providing exceptional customer service.
Your expertise in animal care and grooming will help create a positive environment and experience for both pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs and other pets.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing recommendations for care as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and products to provide the best service possible.
- Assist with other animal care tasks as needed, including feeding, exercising, or monitoring pets' health.
- Time management while working under fast pace environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is mandatory; Must have atleast 1 year of hands on finished grooming. Or strong skills under a year of experience with a portfolio.
- Familiarity with various breeds and their specific grooming needs is a plus.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care is essential.
- Skills in dog handling, dog training, veterinary practices, or customer service are highly valued.
