Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to meet kitchen demands
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed
- Support the catering team by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events or banquet functions
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and equipment
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health and safety standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper bussing of dining areas
- Help with light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to support overall sanitation efforts
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchenware and workspaces

- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or busy banquet periods
