Job Title: Dishwasher
Reports to: General Manager / Executive Chef
Status: Seasonal, Full-time, Hourly
Overview: The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that kitchen utensils, prep dishes, and dining room dishes and utensils are cleaned and organized to ensure proper function of the restaurant during service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- General cleanliness of the prep dish areas.
- Organization of dish storage areas in the BOH. Keeping all dishes organized so that they may be accessed quickly during service.
- Maintain a supply of clean glassware, plateware, utensils, and prep dishes.
- Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning chemicals and change out chemicals as needed and indicated by the machine.
- Keep the dish machine clean and maintained, including changing water as needed.
- Be able to follow opening, transition, and closing procedures as indicated by handbooks and management.
- Enforce the restaurant's policies and procedures as it relates to food service and guest experience, as well as other activities important to the operation of a restaurant.
- Expected to work a minimum of 5 days per week but potential to work 6 days per week for large events or holiday weekends.
- Other duties as determined necessary by Ross Hospitality.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
