Job Summary

As our Maintenance Technician, you set the foundation for our Service Promise of ensuring a clean, friendly, and well-maintained club. Your daily focus is to ensure proper conditioning of all club areas and equipment, which provides a clean, safe, and outstanding experience for our members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Cleans and dusts walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows

· Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums the floor of all club areas, including basketball courts, locker rooms, weight area, lounge, cardio, office space, hallways, stairs, etc.

· Cleans and dusts all basketball, weight, and cardio equipment

· Restock supplies

· Empties clubs' garbage and recycling containers

· Completes daily and weekly cleaning checklist

· Performs special cleaning projects as assigned

· Performs assigned cleaning tasks during the day

· Adhere to all safety rules

· Use all Maintenance Technicians' supplies per product labels and club manuals

· Adhere to the authorized dress code

· Attend all required training sessions and meetings

· Report all facility maintenance issues to the supervisor

· Report any member complaints to the supervisor

· Knowledge of brand standards, policies, and procedures

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· Cleaning practices and procedures

· Understand and follow written instructions

· Effectively communicate (verbal and writing skills) in English and/or Spanish

· Work independently in the absence of supervision

· Attention to detail

· Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of duties

Preferred Qualifications

· High School Diploma/GED

· 3 months of maintenance-related experience

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

· While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms

· Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

· Regularly required to lift to 25 pounds. Occasionally required to lift to 100 pounds

· Required usage of cleaning chemicals, ladders, and cleaning utensils

· Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts

· Noise level in the environment is occasionally loud

Work Schedule

· Monday – Thursday: 2 pm - 7 pm

· Saturday: 8 am - 3 pm

Compensation

· Starting at $18.81/hour

· Direct deposit twice per month
