As we revamp and expand our training programs, we’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Franchise Training Manager to serve as our official franchise trainer. This individual will play a key role in building, leading, and continuously improving the training experience for our Franchisees, Club Coordinators, and operational staff nationwide.

Position Summary

The Franchise Training Manager will own the development, coordination, and delivery of all corporate-led training initiatives. This includes organizing and facilitating Franchisee Certification and Club Coordinator Certification, overseeing instructional design for training materials, and ensuring all training aligns with The Picklr’s brand guidelines, operational standards, and business goals.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled trainer who thrives in front of a room, can engage professional audiences, and has proven experience in developing impactful training programs. The right candidate will be passionate about learning, growth, and creating an environment where every franchisee feels confident and equipped to run a successful club.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Facilitate Training: Plan, organize, and deliver Franchisee and Club Coordinator Certification programs, ensuring participants leave prepared to successfully manage their clubs.
  • Instructional Design & Materials: Develop, update, and maintain engaging training materials, presentations, and SOPs that reflect The Picklr’s brand guidelines and operational standards.
  • Program Development: Partner with leadership to revamp and scale training programs that support the company’s rapid growth and franchisee success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback, assess training effectiveness, and implement enhancements to ensure long-term success and consistent franchise operations.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned across departments.
  • Facilitation of Learning: Create an engaging learning environment that fosters confidence, excitement, and readiness in all participants.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2 years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or learning & development.
  • Proven ability to lead training sessions for professional audiences and keep participants engaged and motivated.
  • Strong background in creating training content, SOPs, and program documentation.
  • Confident public speaker, skilled in facilitating group learning and energizing diverse audiences.
  • Experience in designing and delivering certification or leadership development programs.
  • Proficient with presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva, LMS platforms) and comfortable updating/editing training materials.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating events, programs, or multi-day trainings.
  • Collaborative team player with a passion for teaching, learning, and growth.
  • Passion for pickleball is a plus, but passion for The Picklr’s mission and culture is essential.
