Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment for an Administrative Secretary position at our Welcome Center.
This is a 12-month position. 8 hours per day.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Previous secretarial office experience required with successful skills in creating and managing multiple projects
- Expert-user skill-level in creation and use of databases, spreadsheets, word processing and the full range of Microsoft Office Suite products, data entry and records management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills both orally and in written communication
- Experience with a wide range of office equipment
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm with accuracy and proper use of grammar
- Must be able to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Must be able to assist supervisor in creating a safe, positive and confidential working environment
- Must work well with students, staff, community members and parents of diverse populations.
