Piazza Auto Group is seeking experienced a Body Shop Structural Technician to join our team of professionals in our high-volume Body Shop.
Weekly guarantee of 100 flat-rate hours!
A valid State Driver’s License is required for employment. ICAR training and certification preferred.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BODY SHOP TECHNICIAN (include but are not limited to):
- Perform work including structural repairs and welding as specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Work in conjunction with the shop estimator and insurance estimators to fully assess damage to a vehicle
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform and document repair
- Communicate with department manager and estimator to obtain needed parts
- Examine the vehicle to determine if supplemental repairs are required
- Road-test vehicles when required
- Notify estimator(s) and manager immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
