We’re looking for a Market Data Infrastructure & Electronic Trading Support Engineer to support and enhance critical market data environments and electronic trading infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in system monitoring, infrastructure support, project coordination, and ensuring the integrity and reliability of market data services across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support related to Market Data issues including DACS, TREP, and related platforms
- Track and manage support requests through JIRA
- Perform process and job restarts as needed
- Support and maintain Market Data and Electronic Trading infrastructure environments
- Monitor and maintain market data back-end infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency
- Partner with Market Data teams and external vendors to implement new services and solutions
- Ensure the quality, integrity, and delivery of real-time, end-of-day, and security master market data across the organization
- Proactively monitor infrastructure components and troubleshoot connectivity, redundancy, and reliability issues
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and troubleshooting guides in Confluence
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and audit evidence
- Develop and manage monitoring, alerting, and escalation procedures for Market Data and Electronic Trading systems
- Produce system health and utilization reporting
- Work closely with infrastructure, development, and business teams to support new implementations and ongoing production support
- Analyze technical requirements and provide design and implementation recommendations aligned with company standards and best practices
- Coordinate Market Data and Electronic Trading related projects from planning through execution
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patching, and infrastructure improvements
- Conduct budget analysis, ROI studies, and project status reporting
- Design and implement automation scripts to streamline manual operational tasks
- Collaborate with local and global IT teams to support both short- and long-term initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–9 years of experience supporting Market Data environments
- Strong understanding of Market Data technologies, infrastructure design, engineering, and troubleshooting
- Experience with:
- LSEG Refinitiv Real Time Data System (RTDS/TREP)
- Tibco Rendezvous & Rendezvous Router
- Bloomberg technologies including Terminal, API, Server API, and BPipe
- Market Access platforms such as Tradeweb, ION, or Fidessa
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux/RedHat environments
- Scripting experience with Unix Shell; PowerShell and Python are a plus
- Strong networking fundamentals including switching, routing, firewalls, NATing, proxies, and multicast concepts
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working independently in fast-paced, high-availability environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field preferred
Salary : $70 - $80
