Loan Closer

Our client a well known Financial Services company is seeking a Loan Closer in their Charlotte, North Carolina Location!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of approved loan applications, verifying that all required documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with underwriting decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive closing packages and collaborate closely with lenders, title companies, attorneys, and borrowers to coordinate all closing activities.
• Ensure full compliance with federal lending regulations, internal guidelines, and established closing timelines, including adherence to RESPA, TILA, TRID, and other applicable statutes.
• Confirm that all funding and borrower conditions have been satisfied and oversee the timely disbursement of loan proceeds.
• Maintain meticulous records, update loan management systems with current closing status, and ensure data integrity throughout the process.
• Serve as a key communication liaison, proactively addressing questions, resolving issues, and facilitating a seamless borrower experience from preparation to post-closing.

Skills:

• Proven experience in loan processing, underwriting, or loan closing within mortgage or commercial lending environments.
• Strong understanding of closing procedures and comprehensive knowledge of loan documentation requirements.
• In-depth familiarity with regulatory compliance, including RESPA, TILA, TRID, and related lending regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capability, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate and update loan files accurately and efficiently.
