Partnership Health an outpatient Family Medicine Practice is seeking an experienced Medical Director for an outpatient office in Brick.
Our office sees patients 2 and above.
We are open only to the employees of the Brick Township School system.
Our offices offer onsite Family medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, X-Ray, and Behavorial Health.
Our current Medical Director is going on leave from 3/30 to 4/17. This is the perfect chance to see if this is the right fit for you to lead our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for family medicine services
- Oversee medical management activities including utilization management and patient care protocols
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, NCQA standards, and FDA guidelines
- Supervise medical staff, including physicians and support personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Lead clinical development initiatives and participate in research projects to advance family medicine practices
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to meet accreditation standards
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for patient documentation and data analysis
- Engage in project management activities related to healthcare delivery improvements
Experience
- Proven leadership experience as a Medical Director or similar senior clinical role within family medicine or primary care settings
- Must have a valid unrestricted NJ Medical license.
- Extensive background in managed care environments with familiarity in healthcare management strategies
- Demonstrated expertise in EMR/EHR systems, utilization management, and clinical research methodologies
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and hospital-based practices
- Experience supervising medical teams and managing multidisciplinary staff in compliance with NCQA standards and HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of FDA regulations relevant to clinical practice and research activities
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
