As the Director of Technical Product Management (Pet), you’ll be the single-threaded owner of the platform strategy and execution, bringing together technology, operations, and business teams to deliver seamless experiences for our customers and partners. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of business strategy, product management, and technology defining not just what we build, but why and how we deliver value.
What You’ll Do
- Define and deliver the Pet Platform strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term business and customer goals.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between technology, operations, product, and business leaders to drive innovation and scale.
- Work backward from customer and partner needs to design solutions that are intuitive, efficient, and easy to integrate.
- Translate complex, ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable initiatives that improve automation, scalability, and performance.
- Own platform performance developing metrics, dashboards, and mechanisms to measure reliability, integration quality, and customer experience.
- Manage partner integrations and vendor relationships, ensuring that third-party contributions enhance platform outcomes.
- Promote an agile, data-driven culture that values iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, driving platform excellence across the organization.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; MBA or advance degree is a bonus.
- 10 years of progressive experience in technical product management, platform strategy, or technical product ownership, ideally within insurance, fintech, or SaaS.
- Proven record of owning and delivering multi-year platform roadmaps from concept to launch.
- Deep understanding of modern technology architectures (APIs, cloud, microservices, event-driven integration) and agile delivery.
- Demonstrated success in partner enablement, digital distribution, or embedded insurance ecosystems.
- Exceptional ability to translate strategy into execution, leading through influence and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with a focus on outcomes and impact.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills – demonstrating the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Passion for innovation, simplification, and creating measurable value for both customers and the business.
