We're looking for sharp, calm-under-pressure communicators to join us as Dispatchers and Customer Care Agents.

What You'll Do

As a Dispatcher, you are the real-time link between our crews and the communities we serve:

• Receive and process emergency and non-emergency transport requests
• Dispatch and coordinate field units across a 22-county service area
• Monitor unit status and optimize resource allocation
• Operate CAD systems and multi-channel communication consoles
• Make rapid, high-quality decisions under pressure — calmly, every time

As a Customer Care Agent, you are the first voice patients, families, and facilities hear:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls for transport scheduling and coordination
• Serve as front-line intake for transport requests from hospitals, facilities, and patients
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with healthcare partners
• Work in close coordination with dispatch to ensure seamless handoffs

Both roles require the same core strengths: excellent communication, geographic knowledge of Northern and Central Ohio, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing composure.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of typing/data entry experience
• 1 year of dispatching or high-volume phone/scheduling experience
• Strong knowledge of Central and Northern Ohio geography
• Availability for night and overnight shifts
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting upon hire

Preferred (not required):

• EMT-B or EMD certification
• Prior EMS, healthcare, or medical transport experience

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (8- or 10-hour shifts available depending on role)
• Night and overnight availability required
• Weekend and holiday rotation
• Overtime and on-call opportunities available
