At Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Imaging Department is seeking a full time Radiologic Technologist to deliver care that is second to none in our high volume-fast paced practice.
Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Completing quality diagnostic x-ray exams as ordered including specialized orthopedic and urology imaging procedures
- Export images to interpreting Radiologist offices where applicable
- Additional experience in C-Arm, pain procedures preferred. The successful candidate will be crossed trained in C-Arm modality if they have no prior experience.
- Utilization of EMR/HIS/RIS/PACS programs
- Knowledgeable in insurance and pre-authorization process.
- Participate in additional department and corporate initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Current Iowa Permit to Practice and ARRT (R) certification.
- Knowledgeable in applying radiology skills and adhere to safety regulations.
- Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
