Medical Office Manager – Primary Care

The Role:
We’re seeking a Medical Office Manager – Primary Care to oversee daily clinic operations and ensure a high-performing, patient-centered environment. Under the supervision of regional and clinical leadership, you’ll manage staff, optimize workflows, maintain regulatory compliance, and support providers in delivering exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the primary care office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient throughput.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate administrative and clinical support staff.
- Oversee scheduling, front desk operations, and patient communication processes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal and state requirements.
- Coordinate billing, coding, and revenue cycle activities in collaboration with billing staff or external vendors.
- Monitor office budgets, expenses, and supply inventory; order medical and office supplies as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between providers, staff, patients, and external partners.
- Implement and maintain office policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Address patient concerns and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and practice growth goals.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting, preferably in primary care.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medical office operations, insurance processes, and EHR systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
