This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant with EKG experience who is ready to hit the ground running. This is a 3-MONTH TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT, with potential for hire pending on position availability.
Back Office Medical Assistant Position Details
- Location: Alhambra, CA.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (Full-Time)
- Pay Rate: From $20-$21/hour (depending on experience)

Back Office Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vitals, and document medical history
- Perform and interpret EKGs
- Assist physician with procedures and patient care
- Update and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Keep exam rooms stocked, sanitized, and ready for use
- Support patient flow in a high-volume cardiology clinic
Back Office Medical Assistant Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program
- EKG proficiency is a must
- Experience using EMR systems
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a specialty care setting
