Job Description: Lead Tosca Service Virtualization Consultant (POC Lead) / QA Architect

Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Service Virtualization Architect to drive a critical Proof of Concept (POC) and initial implementation for one of our key clients. In this role, you will lead a small team of QA engineers to design, build, and deploy virtual services, effectively removing environment dependencies and testing bottlenecks. The ideal candidate is a technical subject matter expert who can confidently define the virtualization strategy, architect the initial framework, and showcase immediate value to client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the POC: Scope out, design, and execute a standalone Proof of Concept using Tosca OSV to validate environment savings and baseline performance.
- Architecture & Strategy: Define the framework for capturing, modeling, and deploying active "Service Ports" and stateful message simulations.
- Team Leadership & Enablement: Manage and mentor a small team of automation engineers, overseeing their daily tasks, conducting reviews, and establishing naming conventions and standards.
- Client Engagement: Interface with client technical leads (DevOps, Architecture, Business) to discover missing API endpoints, interpret backend payloads, and map system dependencies.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate the mock/virtualized services seamlessly into the client s DevSecOps pipeline using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
Required Technical Skills
- 5 years in Test Automation and Architecture, with at least 2-3 years dedicated specifically to Tricentis Tosca OSV / Service Virtualization.
- Heavy technical expertise utilizing Tosca API Scan to trace tokens, handle state correlations, and create chained virtual endpoints.
Deep understanding of environment management, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and shift-left continuous testing methodologies.
