- Support desktop environments through help desk functions using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and other ticketing systems
- Perform software troubleshooting for applications across various operating systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and technical specifications to effectively communicate benefits to customers
- Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex issues related to IT infrastructure and networking
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client requirements and providing tailored solutions
Skills
- Proven experience in technical support, desktop support, or IT support roles
- Strong knowledge of computer management, hardware components, and operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Familiarity with network configurations such as LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and general IT infrastructure management
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and Help Desk platforms
- Ability to manage computer hardware and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and technical explanation
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes
