Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth through strategic planning and effective negotiation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer relationship management, as well as experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and networking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align business development efforts with company goals. .

What You’ll Do:

  • Sell specialized logistics solutions including LTL, FTL, Drayage and hotshot freight
  • Manage and grow your existing book of business while prospecting new opportunities
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored transportation solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time, reliable delivery
  • Stay on top of your pipeline using CRM tools and performance metrics
  • Represent the company with professionalism, reliability, and drive

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2 logistics sales experience (LTL, FTL, hotshot, or Drayage required)
  • Existing book of business to bring with you on Day 1
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Independent, self-driven, and goal-oriented
  • Tech-savvy with CRM tools (Salesforce a plus)
