The Direct Sales professional will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing sales to meet and exceed gross profit budget. Direct Sales Professionals of Phoenix Textile meet and exceed goals by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs and are the face ahead of, beside, and behind the market image of Phoenix Textile, providing consultative services, ensuring customer satisfaction, opening new accounts, expanding sales at existing accounts, and leading the sales efforts in their assigned territory.

What You Will Be Doing
- Call on existing customer base and prospective customers to grow existing business and create new customers and gross profit to meet and exceed annual budget.
- This interaction with existing and prospective customers must be executed through an integrated communication strategy including: in person face-to-face meetings via travel into assigned territory; phone communication; and written, both "hard copy" and electronic, communication.
- Work closely with other members of Commercial sales team in resolution of customer service issues in coordination with the management team.
- Work in collaboration, when required, with other members of the Phoenix Textile team to effectively execute all facets of customer service and resolution of customer issues.
- Learn about new products and services being offered by Phoenix and present them in a positive, professional, and consultative manner to the marketplace.
- Attend all sales meetings and teleconferences to keep up-to-date on sales strategies, processes and programs and continually and actively participate in their own professional development.
- Ability to interact with customers and company personnel in a manner that promotes customer retention and creates a positive work culture reflective of Phoenix's commitments.
- Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate both in an oral and written manner.
- Ability to successfully persuade, negotiate and close customers.
- A thorough understanding of computer software and programs and the effective use of these computer skills. Experience with and the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel are required.
