We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of the Engineering Department for Arena Operations, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of the Engineering Department for Arena Operations, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks including assisting various departmental trades, light repairs, and general property upkeep
- Perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and various trades, as needed.
- Assisting with painting, as needed, minor surface repairs with a neat, professional finish
- Perform basic carpentry work including shelving installation, wood repairs, and furniture assembly
- Assist with minor plumbing repairs such as leak fixes, drain unclogging, and faucet replacement
- Support basic electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs and troubleshooting minor issues (under supervision)
- Complete minor flooring repairs
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Support senior technicians on more complex repairs and special projects
- Assist with event setups, installations, and coverage.
- Communicate professionally with team members and vendors, if applicable to daily workflow.
- Report maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas
- A strong willingness to learn and take initiative
- Dependability and the ability to follow instructions while developing independent work skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform hands-on labor
- Comfort working at heights (ladders) and in confined spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 Yrs Experience with General Maintenance and Repair. Preferred.
