Sr. Project Manager

Title: Project Manager 3
Location: Hybrid - Austin, TX (On Site and Telework)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead the replacement of the Program Integrity Case Tracker (PICT) system. This role will oversee a complex, enterprise-level modernization initiative aimed at delivering a scalable, efficient, and secure system that supports improved functionality and future enhancements. The Project Manager will guide teams using Agile and PMI-based methodologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and compliance requirements.

Your role:

• Lead the full lifecycle of a large-scale enterprise project using standard project management practices and Agile methodology.
• Oversee design, development, and implementation activities to ensure deliverables meet business, technical, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; manage contingency plans to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Track progress and report weekly on project milestones, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, business users, and executive stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable steps.
• Lead project team meetings, status reviews, and presentations to leadership and oversight entities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide mentorship, transfer knowledge to internal staff, and promote continuous improvement in project processes.
• Offer after-hours or on-call support as needed during critical project phases.

What you've got:

• 8 years of Project Management experience in large-scale enterprise implementations.
• 8 years of State of Texas or comparable federal/state government project management experience.
• 8 years of development experience, with strong understanding of technology-driven environments.
• Proven ability to apply Agile (Scrum) and PMI-based methodologies to complex projects.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
