Basic Job Duties:
Generate 3D configuration/part models for Sales Engineering
Generate 3D configurations of machined parts
Generate 3D configurations of stamped/formed parts
Assist in in Die Development
Waterjet Programming, Setup, and Validation
3D Printing of Parts
Verify Parametric Tooling Design Parameters to Custom Prints
Owner of Parametric Part Rules
Assist Engineering with Models for ESPIRT Machine Setup
Special Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Proficient in 2D CAD (Preferably AutoCad)
- Proficient in 3D CAD (Preferable Solidworks)
- Parametric Modeling
- Surfacing
- Complex Assemblies
- Sheet Metal Parts
- Part Configurations
- Automated Title Block Properties
- Advanced/Formula Based Part Mate
- Proficient in reading and interpretating GD&T
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Education Required:
Associate Degree in Engineering Design Technology or Work Experience Equivalent
Experience Required:
Minimum of 6 Months of Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
1 Year of CAD design and drafting experience (Solidworks Preferred)
