Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and floors to prevent algae buildup
- Inspect pool equipment such as filters, pumps, and chlorinators; perform minor repairs or coordinate repairs with service technicians
- Use hand tools and power tools to maintain and troubleshoot pool systems effectively
- Check water chemistry levels regularly and adjust chemical balances to ensure safe swimming conditions
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, chemical treatments, and equipment maintenance
- Identify potential issues with pool equipment or structure and report them promptly for timely resolution
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and clients
- Lift 50 pounds in back of small truck/ move 100 pounds around
- Able to see color, and see changes in testing colors
- Be able to work on your own or as part of a team
- Basic Math is a must
- Candidates must be able to work with little supervision. Good written and verbal communication, and likes to help others. Strong customer orientation.
Experience
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is required
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding pool systems and troubleshooting equipment problems
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment repair techniques is highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
