What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Phoenix Services LLC?
Growing company leading supplier of Nickel Electro-formed Masks, Stainless Steel Fabricated Masks is looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team.
This is a day shift positon 6am-2:30pm.
Pay is $22-$32 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes (primarily Haas equipment).
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and speeds/feeds for materials and operations.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.).
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to ensure part accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of CNC machining experience (Haas controls preferred).
- 2 years of Mastercam experience is required
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
