Growing fabrication shop in Inkster, MI is hiring a 1st shift Saw Operator!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and changeovers on various types of machinery and equipment
- Utilize measuring tools to mark and cut steel precisely
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Operating machinery such as band saws, brake presses, and drill presses
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a machine operator in an industrial steel facility or similar environment
- 2-3 years’ experience using a metal cutting band saw and brake press
- Familiarity with measuring tools and ability to read a measuring tape to 1/16” is required
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards
Shift Hours are 7am-3:30pm with potential for overtime as needed.
