Job description:
SUMMARY
The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for all aspects of building maintenance, including inspections and repair work as expertise permits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will conduct facility inspections, which will include, but will not be limited to, checking smoke detectors, exit lights, fire extinguishers, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and structures on a regular schedule.
- Complete reports regarding assessments of and solutions to individual program needs to be submitted to the Facilities Manager.
- Make repairs or replacements as expertise permits, or, oversee outside contractors in the completion of necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic building and property maintenance services.
- Ability to properly use hand tools and instruments.
- Ability to properly use cleaning agents.
- Ability to comply with internal, state and federal record keeping and confidentiality guidelines.
- Ability to follow direction.
- Ability to work and communicate with others.
