Job Overview
The Warehouse & Shop Clerk manages daily shop operations, inventory, and local deliveries. This role ensures the team and clients have the fire sprinkler parts they need on time.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Receiving:
Unload incoming freight deliveries safely.
Verify delivery packing slips against physical items.
Inspect received parts for damage or defects.
Label shelves and storage bins clearly.
Shop & Warehouse Maintenance:
Stock parts in designated warehouse locations.
Organize fittings, pipes, and sprinkler heads.
Sweep floors and clear trash daily.
Maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment.
Secure the shop at the end of the day.
Order Picking & Delivery:
Pull correct parts for upcoming installation projects.
Pack and stage materials for field crews.
Load delivery vehicles safely and securely.
Transport materials to client sites and project locations.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Knowledge of fire sprinkler parts is a plus.
Basic computer skills for inventory data entry.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
