About the Role
As a CNC Field Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource for regional manufacturing facilities, ensuring high-precision equipment operates at peak performance. You will diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, execute installations, and provide essential maintenance to drive operational uptime for our diverse client base.
Responsibilities- Execute on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs for CNC milling and turning centers.
- Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize production downtime.
- Provide expert guidance and training to machine operators to enhance their proficiency and equipment longevity.
- Manage end-to-end service documentation, ensuring all project records and technical logs are accurate and up-to-date.
- Serve as a primary technical liaison, fostering strong relationships through professional communication and reliable problem-solving.
- Optimize machine performance through systematic inspection and proactive component replacement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machining and turning centers.
- Strong technical aptitude in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in performing motor repairs, spindle maintenance, and machine setup.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and documentation for complex CNC equipment.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
- Technical familiarity with major control systems such as Fanuc, Haas, or Okuma.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on root-cause troubleshooting.
