What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Runner position at Phoenix Communications, Inc.?
You will be organizing and transporting tools, equipment, parts, vehicles, trailers, and tires, maintaining inspection stickers, and assisting with general vehicle maintenance. This position reports to the Fleet Manager.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Organizing tools, equipment, parts, vehicles, trailers, and tires
- Transporting tools, equipment, parts, vehicles, trailers, and tires
- Assisting in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of gas and diesel vehicles and small engines
- Facilitating the inspection sticker process, aiding in identifying vehicle safety concerns
- Washing and cleaning vehicles as needed
- Valid Driver’s License, acceptable driving record required
- Basic mechanical skills and/or aptitude
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
- Background check and pass a drug test required
