What You'll Do
- Schedule work for the production plant floor based on job size, paper size, due date, and other criteria.
- Enter and pass out all pressroom schedules
- Review and correct all job bags as necessary
- Responsible for making all film and sakurai schedules for day and night shifts as needed as well as 240 press
- Pull and gather all master folders for the pressroom
- Schedule and organize sales and customer press “ok’s”
- Allocate all cold foil jobs
- Enter all pressroom paid leave time in scheduling department designated book
- Regularly check and respond to incoming scheduling emails
- Assist factory employees with all questions about jobs, the manning, etc.
- Assist with scheduling in book manufacturing as needed
- Adheres to and promotes all safety, security and environmental policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
- High levels of attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Knowledge of Printing preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Database order entry
- Computer literacy with proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office products
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
