Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role located in Chagrin Falls, OH. The Cost Accountant will analyze manufacturing costs and variances, maintain cost standards, and prepare cost reports to support pricing, budgeting, and profitability decisions. Responsibilities include recording and reviewing journal entries, reconciling cost accounts, assisting with month-end close, and supporting the preparation of internal financial summaries related to production activities. The role will partner closely with operations and production teams to track material, labor, and overhead costs, monitor inventory valuation, and identify efficiency opportunities. The Cost Accountant will also support audits, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and contribute to continuous improvement of cost accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong cost accounting skills, including experience with standard costing, variance analysis, standard book keeping, and inventory valuation.
