Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based in Albany, GA. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient responses. The role includes collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families on treatment and discharge plans, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the medical record. The Registered Nurse also supports infection control and patient safety initiatives, assists with procedures as needed, and participates in quality improvement activities within the unit.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia and graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients safely.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Proficiency in basic computer and electronic health record (EHR) use, with attention to detail in documentation.
- Experience in acute care or hospital settings is preferred; specialty certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS) are beneficial.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, infection prevention, and adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
