Job Summary
Pho Viet is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Vietnamese Restaurant Worker to support daily restaurant operations and help provide a welcoming experience for guests. This role assists with food and beverage service, order handling, basic food preparation, cleanliness, restocking, and general restaurant support.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with preparing and serving Vietnamese-inspired dishes, pho, rice and noodle dishes, appetizers, and beverages.
- Support basic food preparation, portioning, packaging, plating, and order assembly.
- Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and served promptly.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a courteous manner.
- Answer basic questions about menu items and assist guests with selections when needed.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as required.
- Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
- Clear and reset tables and help maintain a welcoming restaurant environment.
- Restock ingredients, beverages, utensils, napkins, containers, and other service supplies.
- Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
- Handle food, equipment, supplies, and customer property carefully.
- Communicate customer concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
- Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
- Keep work areas and service stations organized throughout each shift.
- Support effective communication between kitchen staff, service team members, and guests.
- Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous Vietnamese restaurant, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

About Pho Viet

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
