Job Summary
Pho Bun Me (PHO & BANH MI) is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Vietnamese Restaurant Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming dining experience. This role assists with guest service, order handling, Vietnamese food and beverage service, cleanliness, restocking, and teamwork across the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with preparing and serving Vietnamese-inspired menu items, pho, banh mi, rice and noodle dishes, appetizers, and beverages.
- Support food preparation, portioning, packaging, plating, and order assembly as needed.
- Ensure customer orders are accurate, complete, and presented properly.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and basic food options.
- Assist customers with basic menu selections and special requests when appropriate.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized counters, dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
- Clear and reset tables while maintaining a neat and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Restock ingredients, beverages, utensils, napkins, packaging, and other service supplies.
- Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
- Handle food, equipment, supplies, and customer property carefully and responsibly.
- Communicate guest concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
- Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
- Support smooth communication between kitchen staff, service team members, and guests.
- Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous Vietnamese restaurant, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

About Pho Bun Me (PHO & BANH MI)
Pho Bun Me (PHO & BANH MI) provides a welcoming restaurant environment focused on Vietnamese-inspired food, friendly hospitality, and quality customer service. The team works together to maintain clean, organized, and efficient restaurant operations while providing a positive experience for every guest.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.0 per week
