Bartender/Server

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills.
• Provide attentive customer service by greeting guests promptly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including catering or banquet events if applicable.
• Uphold all food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques to upsell beverages or menu items effectively.
• Experience with food handling, food safety certifications, and responsible alcohol service is advantageous.
• Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and basic math for order accuracy.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming atmospheres for diverse clientele.

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
