Position: Phlebotomy Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
- Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
- Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
- Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
- Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
- Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
- Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
- Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
State Requirements:
- Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician in the state of Michigan, with a minimum of 2 years of full-time phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years (including venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement); a copy of the phlebotomy certificate will be required upon request
- At least two years of teaching experience and/or work experience in the field for which training is offered, in the last 5 years
- Hold at least a high school diploma or GED, and have completed a program of instruction at a recognized school directly related to the field of teaching; a copy of the diploma or transcript will be required upon request.

PM Shift: Mon- Thurs, 6:00PM - 10:00PM
