Position: Phlebotomy Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive instruction in the art of phlebotomy for aspiring phlebotomists.
- Cultivate a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for students during lecture and all clinical drawing portions.
- Encourage and support students throughout the program to ensure successful completion.
- Deliver our insightful curriculum in a clear and easily comprehensible manner.
- Manage onsite inventory and classroom cleanliness.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including classroom documentation (If applicable).
- Productive attendance and timeliness to all scheduled classes.
- Required reliable transportation and an address to receive inventory boxes.
- Required Technology knowledge with IPads, mirror casting, troubleshooting, etc.
- Preferred - EKG knowledge and work experience
State Requirements:
- Medical Technical Certification (Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, CNA, Laboratory Technician, etc.) in the state of North Carolina with a minimum of 3 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 5 years (venipunctures, blood collection, lab processing, and special specimen procurement), must provide a copy of certificate upon request
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- At least one year of administrative experience
- Be a graduate of an accredited college or university and hold a baccalaureate degree OR;
- Applicants who lack the educational requirement but who are otherwise qualified based on relevant work experience, may be approved on an individual basis by the State Board of Proprietary Schools
Required Documents:(Required to move forward to final interview, and be considered for position)
- Current Resume listing at least 3 years of experience in phlebotomy
- Proof of College Degree AND copy of transcripts
- Current Medical Technical Certification (Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy or CNA or Medical Laboratory Technician)
Schedules:
PM Shift: Mondays - Fridays , 9:00AM - 1:00PM
