Philly Photo & Philm is seeking outgoing, dependable individuals to deliver, set up, and operate photo booths at a variety of events, including weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate functions, and more. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, professional, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, people-facing environment. Each shift typically includes 1 hour for set up, 3–4 hours of active event time, and 30 minutes for breakdown. With travel, looking between 7 to 8 hours per job on average.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport photo booth equipment to event venues throughout NJ, PA, and DE (drive times range from 20 minutes to 2 hours from our Blackwood, NJ studio).
  • Set up equipment, backdrops, and props efficiently and professionally.
  • Run functionality checks and ensure everything is working properly before guests arrive.
  • Operate the photo booth during events, guiding guests through the experience and keeping the energy high and fun.
  • Monitor booth operation, change paper and ink as needed, and assist with reprints.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive setup throughout the event.
  • Tear down and return all equipment after the event.

Qualifications:

  • Available to work nights and weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday are musts).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation capable of carrying photo booth equipment.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Reliable and punctual with perfect attendance expected - no late arrivals or no-shows tolerated.
  • Able to work independently and troubleshoot minor tech issues.
  • Energetic, personable, and committed to providing a great guest experience.
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or event experience a plus.

We Provide:

  • Comprehensive training - we’ll show you how to operate and troubleshoot the photo booth, handle event flow, and deliver a polished setup.
  • On-Call Support - Our Photo booth Program Director is on call during events to assist with any extreme troubleshooting required
  • All necessary equipment, materials, and event details.

Compensation:

  • Starting up to $20/hr based on experience, reliability, and performance.
  • Opportunities for tips at events.
  • Pay increases based on consistency, work ethic, and positive client feedback.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
