Transportation Administrator
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pay: Based on experience, up to $21/hour

Overview
The Transportation Administrator plays a critical role in supporting daily transportation operations. This position acts as a central liaison between Customer Service, Routing, and Warehouse Operations, ensuring that delivery routes, administrative processes, and communication channels run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary conduit between Customer Service, Routing, and Warehouse teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Ensure delivery routes are completed, verified, and transmitted to the warehouse in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support evolving transportation needs.
- Manage essential administrative functions including:
- Expense processing
- Fuel ticket and mileage tracking
- DOT-compliant driver log management
- Backhaul vendor invoicing
- Pallet payout processing
- Maintain and update equipment maintenance records; coordinate repairs and service with third-party vendors.
- Update and maintain the RoadNet database using driver feedback to improve routing accuracy.
- Promote a strong safety culture—consistently choose the safe path and encourage team members to do the same.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the transportation team and overall operation.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience routing deliveries and communicating directly with truck drivers.
- 2–4 years of administrative experience, ideally within transportation or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
