Director, Pricing & Product Profitability
Are you a data-driven leader with a passion for pricing excellence, profitability optimization, and operational performance? We are seeking a Director, Pricing & Product Profitability to lead our pricing operations function and drive sustainable margin improvement across the organization.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee pricing governance, pricing execution, profitability analysis, and pricing system integrity while partnering closely with Commercial, Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring pricing accuracy, identifying profit improvement opportunities, and delivering actionable insights that support profitable growth.
Please note this is an onsite position based out of Philips Pet corporate office in Easton, PA
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team responsible for pricing administration, governance, and product profitability analysis.
- Ensure accurate execution and maintenance of customer, product, contract, and promotional pricing.
- Monitor product profitability across SKUs, product categories, customers, and business segments.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce leakage, and enhance overall financial performance.
- Partner with Finance to evaluate product cost changes and profitability trends.
- Establish pricing controls, governance processes, and data integrity standards.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into pricing and profitability performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, automation, and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional projects supporting pricing systems, master data governance, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 8 years of experience in pricing operations, financial analysis, commercial finance, revenue management, or product profitability.
- 3 years of leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of product costing, margin analysis, and profitability management.
- Experience with ERP systems, pricing databases, and data governance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree.
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or consumer products industries.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar ERP platforms.
- Background supporting pricing systems, automation initiatives, or data governance programs.
