What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Lead position at Phillips Mushroom Farms?
Phillips Mushroom Farms is looking for a QA Lead to join our team! Oversee Growing Division, Packing and Processing.
- Asst QA Manager in maintaining Food Safety Plan
- Ensure compliance with SQF standards and food safety regulations
- Backup point of contact for regulatory personnel (USDA, FDA, ...)
- Backup person to maintain the Gluten Free Program
- Work with operating staff to maintain quality procedures
- Work with QA Manager to implement production, quality, health and safety standards
- Help to investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
- Communicate with vendors and customers
- Develop and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
- Label compliance (nutritional facts, GS1, USDA/FDA)
- Perform quality control and assurance tasks, review records daily
Must have PQCI or HAACP certification. SPF recommended but not required.
Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm Saturday 7am-end of production
Pay based on experience
