SUMMARY
To assist Shipping Manager in making shipments and updating certifications. To assist in maintaining adequate records on current inventory and accurate paperwork for shipments. Assist Quality Manager with lab reports. Assist Purchasing Mgr. with receiving entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct inventory transactions for the movement of both raw material and finished goods.
Assist with the preparation of packing slips, bill of ladings and raw material certs for shipment.
Enter lab results for customer certifications and prepare specialized certs for specific customers.
Ensure that raw material is properly identified with tags.
Ensure that finished goods are properly identified with Finished Goods tags.
Monitor and ensure conformance of Inventory Control and material handling to the company’s standards.
Coordinate with maintenance on repairs of mobile equipment.
Assist with shipping documentation preparation.
Assists Shipping manager with third party trucking as needed to fulfill shipping obligations.
Document MRO inventory into Plex.
Receiver of steel and supplies.
Print tags to be put on the coils.
Document master tags and material certs into Plex.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and Computer experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate amounts of percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret and provide a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
