We are seeking a Material Handler for one of our clients in Brunswick, OH.
This role ensures efficient movement, storage, tracking, and delivery of materials and finished products. The Material Handler plays a key part in maintaining supply flow, inventory integrity, and supporting production schedules.
Shift:
- 1st shift: Wed/Thur/Fri, 5am-5:15pm
- 3rd shift: M/T/W and every other TH, 5pm-5:15am
Pay:
- $18-$19.50 an hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect inbound raw materials and supplies.
- Stage, sort, and distribute inventory to production or storage areas following priorities and documentation.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy within tracking systems.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks.
- Prepare and label shipments, ensuring adherence to routing and compliance requirements.
- Maintain organized, safe, and clean work areas in line with company standards and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouses, manufacturing, or material handling environments is a plus.
- Must know how to operate a forklift.
- Capability to lift up to 50 70 lbs., stand, bend, and move freely across shifts.
- Solid teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive, safety first mindset.
