Summary

The Quality Control Administrator provides administrative support to the quality assurance and quality control functions by maintaining accurate records, organizing documentation, and supporting compliance efforts across active projects. This role collaborates closely with field personnel, project managers, and the quality team to ensure quality standards are met, processes are followed, and records are properly maintained. The Quality Control Administrator plays a key role in tracking metrics, preparing reports, and facilitating audits across the organization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize quality control records, including inspection reports, certifications, logs, and test results.
  • Enter and manage quality-related data in spreadsheets and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of reports, charts, presentations, and dashboards related to quality performance.
  • Support internal and external audits by compiling and submitting required documentation.
  • Schedule quality-related meetings, coordinate calendars, and assist with agenda preparation and note-taking.
  • Monitor and help enforce document control processes for all project-specific quality documents.
  • Review and track vendor and subcontractor documentation to verify compliance with project quality standards.
  • Assist with the creation and revision of standard operating procedures, checklists, and work instructions.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments including safety, operations, and production.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, audits, and compliance processes preferred.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation across multiple projects.

Education And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional administrative training preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative support role, ideally within construction, engineering, or a quality-driven environment.
  • Previous experience supporting quality assurance/quality control programs is preferred.
