Summary:
The Junior Estimator assists in the preparation of project cost estimates in the early stages of project planning and development. Working under the guidance of senior estimating staff, this role contributes to cost analysis and bid preparation for various construction projects, with a primary focus on civil construction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering, calculating, and compiling data for use in bid proposal estimates.
- Support the analysis of project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to calculate total project costs.
- Help in maintaining a database of historical cost data and supplier information for future use.
- Collaborate with the project team to collect and assess information on project variables that may impact costs.
- Contribute to the preparation of preliminary project budgets and cost assessments.
- Participate in meetings with contractors, clients, and team members to discuss cost estimates.

- Reach out to vendors and sub contractors and assist in the review and evaluation of vendor and subcontractor bids and proposals.
Requirements:
